Granger Campus
What’s the story?
A lot of people comment about the prime location of the Granger campus. But in 1992, it didn’t look so prime. The entire area was farmland, Main Street didn’t connect across the toll road, and University Drive was dirt. But a couple hundred early members of Granger Community Church were meeting in a movie theater (now called Movies 6) and had the vision for what this area would become. They pooled their resources and purchased 30 acres of farmland for $6,000 an acre—a bargain even at that time.
Fast forward to today. Now the campus is in the heart of the growth corridor in Michiana, and families drive from all over the region to find hope and to make a difference with their lives. Each weekend, services are designed to be relevant, enjoyable and meaningful. We have a passion for the arts, so music, drama and media are a big part of the way we communicate. We connect, serve and grow in small groups and ministry teams that offer authentic relationships within a larger community of faith. And, we invest heavily in our children and students, believing them to be some of the greatest influencers of the church today.
Whatever your circumstances – single, married, single again, with or without children – and no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, you matter to God. And to us.
