Elkhart Campus

One church. Where you are.

Why another campus? There are thousands of people in the Michiana area who don't have a church home and who don't yet know they matter to God. Plus, there are hundreds of people who used to drive more than 40-60 minutes round-trip to the Granger Campus. Their involvement and connection was realistically harder to maintain with sky high gas prices and packed schedules. The Elkhart Campus launched in 2008 at the Elkhart Theatre and moved to the RV Hall of Fame in 2009. Its purpose is to make it easier for people to attend services, volunteer, invite their friends and take next steps in the community where they live, work and play. We're one church—where you are.

What’s new at Elkhart? Granger Community Church has a new ministry outpost. Through the overwhelming generosity of the people of St. John's United Church of Christ, their building and property on East Bristol Street were transferred to GCC in July of 2011.

After weeks of prayer, clarifying conversations, congregational and board meetings, the people of St. John's formalized their offer to transfer the property and building to us. An amazing act of God, through a group of people who want to see ministry continue. This is a donation worth $1.2 million that enables us to build a 24/7/365 ministry outpost on the northeast side of Elkhart.
